Mercat de Música Viva de Vic 2012

Avui en Català..

Del 12 al 16 de Setembre del 2012 he viscut el 24è festival del Mercat de Música Viva de Vic més intens de la meva vida.

La meva participació a ha estat a nivell intern, desenvolupant l'aplicació oficial del Mercat de Música Viva de Vic per iPhone, iPad i Android; a nivell professional, he estat present a les jornades professionals de dia; i a nivell d'oci, assistint alguns concerts.

Nivell intern, App MMVV

L'aplicació, ja va ser desenvolupada en part l'any passat amb les principals funcionalitats de poder consultar el cartell del festival per dies i escenaris. L'aplicació permetia veure informació sobre els grups, compartir-ho a les xarxes socials i inclús marcar un grup com a favorit. D'aquesta manera et podies crear la teva agenda personalitzada per cada un dels dies del mercat.

A més a més, apareixia un mapa on es posicionaven tots els escenaris. Clicant sobre cada un d'ells, podíem accedir a la programació d'aquell escenari.

    

Aquest any, hem fet una actualització la qual com a novetats importants, apart de canviar el cartell, s'hi han afegit les activitats professionals de dia i la funcionalitat de "nowPlaying", la qual et permet en tot moment durant el festival, veure quines activitats de dia estan en curs o quins concerts estan sonant en aquell moment.

L'aplicació ha estat tot un èxit d'ús i de valoracions. Hem rebut moltes felicitacions que volem agrair. A continuació es mostren algunes estadístiques reals d'ús.

Les estadístiques són totes de l'última setmana, del 10 al 16 de setembre. De totes maneres, l'actualització està disponible des de mitjans d'Agost, i des de llavors també hi ha hagut moviment i bastantes descàrregues.

Nivell professional, jornades de dia

A nivell professional, hem participat com a Biapum a les jornades de dia. Vam ocupar una de les taules al centre de tots els stands per poder participar i donar-nos a conèixer dins el món.

El primer dia ens van convidar a participar a la presentació d'una de les nostres últimes aplicacions, InfoConcerts - Asacc. Vam explicar als assistents les principals funcionalitats de l'aplicació i les avantatges que ofereix.

Tot seguit vaig assistir a les jornades de Digital Music 2.0 on l'any passat vaig fer una ponència que podeu tornar a veure aqui. Em va sorprendre, tal com dic el vídeo de l'entrevista, quan el ponent va comentar que cada vegada més els grups musicals apostarien per tenir una App mòbil. En el nostre cas, l'aplicació del grup de La Iaia, ja fa més d'un any i mig que la vam desenvolupar. (iPhone / iPad i Android).

Per acabar, l'activitat més interessant va ser la de Speed Meeting. A través de cita prèvia, es van organitzar una serie de reunions ràpides de 8 minuts cada una, durant varies sessions. Vaig tenir la possibilitat d'introduir-me a molts professionals interessants, la majoria dels quals després vaig poder tornar a parlar amb calma per concretar alguns temes. En general va ser una experiència molt positiva per Biapum; vam poder conèixer molts possibles clients i persones interessades en la nostre feina.

Nivell d'oci

A nivell d'oci, destacar la gran afluència de públic, genials concerts repartits per tot Vic. La veritat feia il·lusió, veure tanta i tanta gent. A nivell personal, veure persones amb el seu iPhone o Android a la mà, utilitzant l'aplicació que vam desenvolupar amb tantes ganes, va ser especial.

BizBarcelona 2012

Wednesday 13  and Thursday 14 June was the "Saló de l'emprenedor" day at Barcelona, called BizBarcelona, and Biapum was there.

One of the most interesting conference at the morning was the webCongress. Some experts were talking about the present and the future of the web.

At the noon, I come to see the Didac Lee speaeh. As always was very interesting. He explained his experiences as an entrepreneur and was curious when he told that maybe he is the first member of the Barça staff that had worked at an chinese restaurant.

After him and have lunch, I came to the same place to see Xavier Verdaguer promoting the organization Barcelona - San Francisco. he explained. There are a lot of Catalans working there and Barcelona city is highly valued for the Sillicon Valley people. He told that there, some people starts to celebrate the "Sant Jordi" day. Was amazing. 

For the end, i met with my brother Gil from VID'S and we went to go Albert Bosch conference. Albert compere the entrepreneur live as the adventurer live because he is an adventurer. Also, i really like the photo below when he said that there to kind of people. People who is in the Zoo and people who is in the Jungle. People in the zoo stay in a place where somebody give him the work and the money regullary, as a chimpanzee in the zoo, were the zoo workers give it the bananas every day at same time. In the Jungle, the chimpanzes have to find it food and fight for surviveing. Entrepreneurs are at the Jungle. And now, I feel in the jungle!

The second day I was at the webCongress again.

Also I was listening Marc Sanz explaining some interesting things about Admob and google publicity strategies, because he is working at Google.

Finally, I was recorded for an interview about startups.

Biapum was there and was amazing! A lot of entrepreneurs and developers. I met some known people and met a lot of new developers and startups. Was great to meet there some good friends as Fernando Cejas or some Biapum collaborator as Fernando Garcia. Also was a pleasure to met Hermes Pique from RobotMedia, some Fever team and match other startups and people.

The Biapum stand was, as expected, well dressed. We bring some of our icons apps and the roll-up.

Presentació App Vic 2012

New update of Vic App. Now it's official and free at the AppStore.

Last tuesday 29th March 2012 a new update of Vic has been presented officialy at the new Vic Tourist Office. We made a news conference with councillor Vic, Anna Erra. We expose the new app and some new things for tourism.

In the new app, you can see points of interest, restaurants, hotels and the Tourist Office. Also, you can see some information about this points. You can share this informations via Social Networks or you can contact via call or mail to the restaurants or hotels. You cab find this information via List, Map or Augmented Reality. Finally, you can see here a poster we made for them to promote the app and to inform visitors and Vic people there is an app for Vic.

TechDemoDay 2102

Barcelona Tech Demo Day was held on Tue, 24th april 2012 at La Salle Technova.

The event converging the top 100 tech startups from Barcelona with a high growth potential has come.

Barcelona Tech Demo Day is organized by La Salle Technova, Barcelona Activa, Inlea Foundation and Enginova, leading entrepreneurship agents from the city, and announced the latest technological developments and the status of the projects.

It wias an open show for:

• Business Angels investment forum in a closer way than regular forums: Every investor could meet in person every project from the first moment.
• Press
• Students
• Innovation Managers from world leading technological companies

There wiasbe a conference room with sessions about entrepreneurship and technology, related to eHealth, Smartcities and Mobile. the best was he Betabeers once about the inversion.

This was our stand. We get a roll-up showing our brand. We show our apps icons at the front and with an iPhone and an ipad we show our apps.

Many students, businessmen, entrepreneurs, investors and visitors in general were interested in our startup. We got a lot of cards.
