Last thursday was the 2nd edition of the TicketDay event at Vit Vic,
For this time, the speakers were Ariadna Mateu co-founder of Imaginecc and Innovalley, Josep Albertí founder of Grera and me, Valentí Freixanet founder and CEO of Biapum.
The event was divided with 3 presentations about a quarter each one with a question time at the end of each other.
I was the first. I maked a presentation about mobile apps and the current revolution about that. I explained the consequence of the moment. We started some years ago with the computers. Then, arrived Internet and as a consequence, exist the social networks. Nowadays, we are in the apps revolution and for me, is consequence of all the three revolutions before. The apps exist because we have evolved the computers as a mobile phone called now smartphones. This smartphones has got Internet connexions. Social networks as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare or the mail, makes us to be all the time pending of them and we need apps in our mobile to give us direct, easy and fast access to all of them.
After that, I explained the fourth most important business model of apps developers. Free apps, payed apps, apps with advertisements and apps using In-app Purchase.
Finally, I briefly explained all the Biapum Apps: Àgora, La iaia, Vic, Mercat de Música Viva de Vic, iCollina, Simon and iScrum. I showed them with my iPad2.
I think the assistents liked my speak.
After me, Josep Albertí starts speaking about his entrepreneur experience. He explained his victories and his fails. He shared with us all his experiences and gives some recommendations to all the assistents, motivating them to starts the thinks which they are dreamed in. Also explains de concept of Grera, an interesting network for comapanies.
Finally, Ariadna Mateu, starts a very interesting, natural and brilliant presentations. She explains his experience about founding a company in Sillicon Valley. She talked about the differences between here and Sant Francisco. As says everybody have been there, the mentality is different. They are not afraid to fail. People don't looks bad if you failed with you idea. People is open to help you and is easy to init a new dream. I love how Ariadna express themselves, communicate and transmit feelings.
At the end, she explains about Innovalley and Imaginecc. Innovalley makes intelligent clothes founded by she, my mate of Vic Xavier Verdaguer and another person. Imaginecc is a very interested initiative were Ariadna is directing and also Xavier and my other mate Hugo Pardo ara co-founders. They try to give the opportunity of Europe people to have a Sillicon Valley experience one month. I was thinking last year to be there. :)
Finally, we had got a networking time where can Molas gives as some typical sausages of Vic. I can spook with some interesting people who I didn't know personally as Miquel Serrabassa or I haven't seen him for a time as Pep Campàs.
Thank you very match to ServeisWeb, TicketDay and Anna Molas to give me the opportunity of present Biapum with as interesting people as Ariadna and Josep. Is always a pleasure to be in Vic presenting my project.
